Is Sex Therapy Right For You?
Sex therapy is for anyone with a sexual concern. We’re here to help adults and couples resolve their sexual concerns find meaning and joy in their intimate life again (or for the first time).
Challenges around sexuality can feel confusing, heavy, or even impossible to deal with.
Most people who are seeking sex therapy feel like something about their sexuality is off, confusing, wrong, shameful, or impossible to "fix." Perhaps you can relate. Maybe you think you'd be happier if you made changes but it feels safer and more comfortable to stay the same or you're struggling with something about your relationships or your sexuality but you have no idea how to make it better.
Stuck in uncertainty and feeling hopeless, you may feel worried, stuck, ashamed and unsure of what to do next.
Do You Feel Ashamed, Lost, or Hopeless?
Do any of the following resonate with you?
You've noticed that spark in your relationship is gone
You have anxiety, or negative feelings about sex
You don't understand parts of your sexuality and it seems like everyone else has an easier time understanding sex, their bodies and having a great time
If these sound true for you, we want you to know that even though you may feel alone, know that many people in your circumstances need support considering the many challenges you are facing.
Even if you don't believe you deserve care, you do. You deserve to take care of yourself.
Sex Therapy Can Help You Live With More Joy
It’s possible to feel better. Imagine a life where you could...
Have the intimacy you want with your partner.

How Sex Therapy Works
Sex therapy consists of 50-minute, one-on-one sessions that help you work through your concerns. In addition to listening, your therapist will guide you towards solutions and share what the science tells us about what's going on for you, they play an active role. Here’s how it will work step-by-step:
- First, your therapist will provide a safe, accepting space so that you will feel comfortable sharing your struggles with them.
- Through hearing your story, your therapist will start to get a picture of what your challenges are.
- Next your therapist will start by helping you with immediate concerns like managing difficult emotions and challenging life situations.
- You will also work together to explore what your goals are in therapy and in life so you can know what success looks like for you.
- Keeping your unique goals in mind, you’ll figure out what’s needed to help you reach them.
- Over the course of your sessions, you will start making progress towards the life you desire.
Research shows that sex therapy can positively change your thinking, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. It can help you let go of what’s holding you back.
