LGBTQ+ represents lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, asexual, and pansexual identities, and each and every one of the additional evolving identities represented by the “+” in this acronym
Our therapists are queer-identified or queer-aligned. Our psychotherapy services are for anyone struggling with their LGBTQ+ identity, expression, or simply the challenges you face living in a world that’s not fully supportive. We’re here to help LGBTQ+ community members find support, meaning, joy and community.
Challenges around living authentically can feel heavy, scary, or even impossible to deal with.
Most people who start therapy feel like it may be hard to open up at first and trust that someone won’t judge your identity or expression. Perhaps you can relate. We’re here to help.

How Therapy Works
Therapy sessions consist of 50-minute, one-on-one sessions that help you work through your concerns. In addition to listening, your therapist will guide you towards solutions and share what the science tells us about what's going on for you, they play an active role. Here’s how it will work step-by-step:
- First, your therapist will provide a safe, accepting affirming space so that you will feel comfortable sharing your struggles with them.
- Through hearing your story, your therapist will start to get a picture of what your challenges are.
- Next, your therapist will start by helping you with immediate concerns like managing difficult emotions and challenging life situations.
- You will also work together to explore what your goals are in therapy and in life so you can know what success looks like for you.
- Keeping your unique goals in mind, you’ll figure out what’s needed to help you reach them.
- Over the course of your sessions, you will start making progress toward the life you desire.
Research shows that therapy can positively impact your thinking, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors and resources available to you. It can help you let go of what’s holding you back.
